That's When it all began..We had a name, a mission statement and our very first brochure..
We had come back from a meeting with PT Usha- athlete extraordinaire at her school in Kerala.
We had her blessing and the support of the Usha School of Athletics.
Already another NGO was knocking on our door.
We were ready to Tee-off.
AO Aims to involve its in sports education,
conducting sporting events and teaching basic and hygiene to youngsters in rural schools, orphanages and city slums.
It will work to identify and nurture talent through sponsored training and mentoring.
It is also collaborating with other NGO's to create sporting opportunities for special kids.
The women are looking at bringing in recognized sportspersons and coaches to mentor and train its target talentpool.
Mission AO:
Our Mission is to encourage socio-economically challenged children to learn and play different sports and to identify and support sporting talent.
We want to give them a sporting chance!
